Problem statement

Recreational boating is not very popular in India , I had to research the market in other countries and understand users journey and pain points while booking a birth for their boat. After understanding how Marine birth booking is done and for what reasons, understanding the type of users and their requirements to craft the perfect app design.

My Approach

Research: I started by gathering requirements for the website, including the types of boats, types of marines , the facilities they offer and the criteria required to make a booking, the target audience, and any special features or functionality required. This helped to ensure that the website was designed to meet the needs of both the business and its customers.


E-commerce Platform Selection: Once the design and layout were finalized, the team selected an e-commerce platform to build the website on. This platform needed to have the features required to support online ordering, payment processing, and other key functions.


Product Catalog Setup: With the e-commerce platform in place, the team worked on setting up the product catalog for the website. This involved creating product listings with descriptions, images, and pricing information, as well as organizing products into categories and subcategories for easy navigation.

Solution :

The team created a visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce platform that allowed customers to easily browse and order from the shop's selection of delicious desserts. The website featured a simple and intuitive layout with clear navigation, making it easy for customers to find what they were looking for and place their orders quickly.


To support online ordering, the team integrated a secure payment processing system into the website, allowing customers to pay for their orders using a variety of popular payment methods. The team also implemented a variety of delivery options, including local pickup and delivery, to accommodate different customer preferences and needs.
